The app guides composition toward the ICAO Doc 9303 standard most Schengen countries reference. Always confirm the latest rules from your consulate, VFS Global, TLScontact, or BLS International portal.

35×45 mm canvas — exported at 420×540 px, the standard passport-photo proportion used across the Schengen area.
Face height 70–80% — matches the ICAO head-size guidance (crown to chin), shown with a live percentage readout.
Per-country background — white by default; automatically light gray for Switzerland, and a white/gray toggle for Germany and France.
JPEG size policy — export compressed to ≤512 KB, sized for VFS Global / TLScontact / BLS International online upload portals.
